Ha Giang province ready to host first Moc Mien flower festival

The event will mark the first time that the festival has been held in Ha Giang province, with the aim of promoting the special cultural features of the ethnic minority group in mountainous area whilst simultaneously developing the local tourism sector.

The festival will involve a wide range of activities such as ethnic costume competition, and Khen flute performance of Mong ethnic group.

During the event tourists will have opportunities to enjoy taking photos in Moc Mien flower gardens; visiting Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO-recognized Global Geopark; and planting Moc Mien trees.

It is part of a traditional festival to celebrate the Khen flute of the Mong ethnic group who reside in Ha Giang province.

Check out the news caught today. Tuyen Quang Province to hold 2nd international hot-air balloon festival Tuyen Quang Province’s first International Hot-Air Balloon Festival held in 2022. Photo: Vietnam News Agency The Second International Hot-Air Balloon – 2023 will last from April 28 to May 5 in Tuyen Quang Province, offering a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy the tremendous scenes of the northern mountainous region.
